We are delighted to advise that Westbound were confirmed winners of the European Logistics Award at the BIFA Freight Services Awards ceremony yesterday.
As many of you will have read in our recent communications, we were honoured to have been named as finalists and very proud of our achievements in developing our European products.
Therefore, you can imagine our delight when our name was called out and Westbound Owner/Director – Danny Horne – stepped up to receive the winners trophy from ex England footballer and manager Kevin Keegan.
The BIFA awards are still recognised as the most prestigious in the industry. The annual competition rewards high standards and professionalism, representing the ultimate recognition of special achievements in the industry.
This accomplishment has been a team effort, with contributions from everybody in Westbound, although we are thrilled to credit Martin Keens – Director of Roadfreight and Warehousing – and his excellent division for delivering the European platform that made this possible.
