Vancouver is fast becoming one of the worst impacted North American regions for congestion and delays.
Port delays have been ongoing for some time, like so many of the North American West Coast terminals, but the lack of available warehousing space in Vancouver has become a major issue over recent weeks.
Many warehouses and distribution centres in the region are overflowing and refusing to accept more deliveries, which includes the major fulfilment centres.
This issue has been impacting our Amazon sellers and where possible we have been asking customers to consider Toronto as an alternative distribution point.
While warehousing remains in high demand throughout North America, there is significantly less congestion through Toronto, which should improve lead times.
To arrange this, you simply change the ‘send from’ address to our Toronto DC when creating a shipping plan in Amazon Seller Central.
