In this case, we focus on our Global Fulfilment Services.
You may not be aware that we currently hold literally thousands of pallets in stock throughout the UK and also in US and Canadian facilities. The majority of these are supporting our retail and e-commerce fulfilment services, where we receive products into global distribution centres and then drop feed them into customers when inventory levels are low.
With the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the way retailers and global distributors manage their inventories has had to change and we have been supporting this new world by adapting our existing solutions to match current needs.
It is no secret that the majority of global products are imported from Asia and the current lack of space is making the supply chain process unpredictable. Our solutions have considerably improved this process for many of our customers.
Amazon, the world’s largest online seller, have had to restrict the amounts of inventory received into their DC’s following lockdowns and this is potentially going to be reduced further in the build-up to Black November and Christmas.
Our global fulfilment services are supporting many Amazon marketplace sellers, where we schedule deliveries into ‘Amazon FBA’ centres throughout the UK and North America when stock falls low. Coupled with our direct consolidation and full load services from Asia, we are also helping many UK and European companies to establish themselves within Amazon’s US marketplace.
Our solutions are not limited to holding and delivering stock, we provide a fully bespoke fulfilment service which has the capabilities of integrating into applications such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, WooCommerce and more.
While the recent pandemic has changed supply chain needs, we have been providing integrated fulfilment for some time. It is an area that we know inside out and where the Westbound name is certainly amongst the industry’s leaders.
We would love to hear from you about any needs you may have or any issues you may currently be encountering.
Many businesses are already changing procedures within their supply chain to meet the challenges of the new world. Therefore, please contact us as soon as possible, even if it’s just to register an interest, as facilities are already showing signs of higher demand.
