Following the huge storm that has battered southern parts of British Columbia, causing landslides and washing away sections of major highways, UPS are no longer accepting or collecting any cargo until further notice due to these floods.

This specifically affects our eCommerce clients that are working with us on warehousing and fulfilment in Vancouver.

This is the second time this year that Vancouver has been impacted by severe weather. In July, extreme heat and fires forced rail carriers to postpone services on their networks.

As we reported recently, logistics in Vancouver had been suffering with heavily congested warehousing in recent weeks, which has been impacting many of our Amazon fulfilment customers.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated on any changes. Please contact us if you have concerns about current orders.

At Westbound Logistics we pride ourselves in offering personalised and tailored logistics solutions. To find out more please call 01375 800800 oemail info@westboundglobal.com.
