China Rail freight
During recent times, and especially following the coronavirus outbreak, rail freight services from China into Northern Europe and the UK have materialised, following what was known as the old silk road route.
Rail freight from China, usually through Yiwu in Zhejiang province, is effectively a faster alternative to ocean freight and a cheaper alternative to air freight. Being just a stones throw away from both the export and import terminals and with service contracts and space agreements in place, Westbound are ideally positioned to provide quality rail services by FCL and LCL to and from China.
