Hey, I’m Lauren and I’m the manager on the European road dept.

With Brexit, Covid, the fuel crisis, driver shortages, Ukrainian war and everything else that has been thrown at us the past couple of years, this challenge will be a walk in the park, right?

I suffer with a severe case of “FOMO” (fear of missing out) and I think this has to be the biggest case of it to date. Am I crazy? It would appear so.

I don’t think anyone has prepared as much as they could have. Well, especially me. Taking up swimming and a couple of trips to the gym every week… I am hoping for a miracle. I must add, I have been taking (dragging) my furry friend along for extra walks. I’m pretty sure she would be relieved to know that I won’t be bringing her with me!

I can’t wait to surprise everyone (and myself) to say that I have completed this challenge. Albeit, I do struggle to talk and walk up the stairs at the same time, I could eat better… and I am partial to a Gin & Tonic. So, I guess I can understand why there are a few doubters!!

I am doing this for one of the charities which is very much close to my heart. MIND.

Raising awareness and support for those in need. Everyone is affected in some shape or form and our mind is known to be one of our worst enemies.

I am thankful to those who have sponsored me so far and thank you to those who will do so. I will not let you down!
